Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Elitor website and the services we make available through it. By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptable use of the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it. In particular, you agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems, or any account that is not yours;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape, harvest, or collect data from the site except as expressly permitted;
- upload or transmit malicious code, or use the site to send unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or
- use the site to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
Intellectual property
The site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, the Elitor name and brand, and the underlying software — are owned by Elitor or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written permission. Ownership of work product delivered under a separate services agreement is governed by that agreement, not these Terms.
Security assessments
Any security assessment we carry out is governed by a separate written agreement and authorisation — setting out the scope, the systems and accounts in scope, the permitted test types, the time window, and the fee — which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms. We test only what you are entitled to authorise; you confirm you own the target or are permitted to have it tested. Nothing on this site is an offer to test a system without that authorisation.
A security assessment is a point-in-time, good-faith effort to find issues within the agreed scope. It is not a guarantee that every vulnerability has been found, and we do not certify that any system is “secure” or “100% secure.” Unless your agreement says otherwise, our assessments are not a CREST/CHECK-accredited penetration test and should not be relied on where an accredited test is required for compliance, insurance, or procurement.
Disclaimers
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current. Any services we provide under a separate agreement are governed by the warranties (if any) set out in that agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elitor and its founders, personnel, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the site, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
